The location is at the upper level of the town with easy access to the historic areas. There is also a funicular rail locally which goes down through the town to the lake. Dining and bars are really good with a fine selection to suit all tastes.

Firstly I would love to start with the staffs. They were such an amazing group of people. Overall my favorites were the guys (bartenders) at the bar, they have good sense of humor and can make you feel at home, meaning they are open for conversation if they aren't busy with the other guests at the hotel. HERE'S A RATING: Staffs: 10/10 Breakfast: 9/10 Environment: 10/10 (really quiet and comfortable) Cleanliness: 10/10 Infrastructure: 10/10 City: 8/10 (well I was there just to have some holiday fun, I'm 20 years old by the way) I would totally recommend this hotel :) Oh... one more thing, you receive a free transportation from the hotel for the city during your stay.

Very friendy stuff. The room was pleasant, with a nice bathroom fully equipped. I didn’t like the fact that there was not a window. Very comfortable bed. The lounge area was very nice, with a bar, couches and a table football. The place around the hotel is very nice with many shops, restaurants and bars. Just minutes walk from the historical centre.

room - perfectly adequate, was light and airy, quiet and not too hot, and was kept clean. The staff were very helpful and keen to make our stay a happy one. Location - it was perfect for our needs. Close to restaurants and cafes, the rail station was easily found 10-15 minutes walk, as was the metro. Lausanne is on the side of mountain and walking can be strenuous, but Bus routes run close to the hotel. Breakfast - the continental breakfast was more than adequate with a good selection of cereals/toast/ meats cheese/yogurt/scrambles egg/fruit juice and coffee. Fresh fruit was always available. There is small cafe onsite serving tea and coffee and beer all day. It also serves light meals in the evening, which we did not try. It very easy to order in a takeout meal to eat in our room (UberEats/Deliveroo etc)

Ibis provides transportation tickets valid for the duration of the stay at the hotel. It includes all buses, all metros and trains. Trains are free for a certain distance from Lausanne. The staff at Ibis was extremely welcoming, one of the better check-ins I've had. The room is small and comfortable, quite pricy but I guess that's just Switzerland.

The location is perfect for exploring the old town of Lausanne in walking distance. The staff are incredibly friendly and amazing. They freely even excitedly offered suggestions for dining and attractions. The room is pretty spatial and clean. Breakfast is great with a diversity of food. Definitely will stay there again. Lovely hotel and staff.

Great location! Centrally located. Near lots of shops and restaurants. Near bus stops and a few mins walk from the Metro. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. The cleaning staff did an excellent job with our rooms everyday.

Friendly welcoming staff on easy check in. Location from the train station is all uphill so taxi if you have heavy bags. Breakfast area felt comfortable, lots of selection and quality food. Room and bathroom were clean with no issues.
